The honest summary is short. This site collects nothing about you unless you submit a form, runs no advertising trackers, and keeps reading preferences on your own device. The detail follows.
What this site collects, and when
Browsing collects nothing personal. There is no analytics script, no advertising pixel, no session replay and no fingerprinting. The web server keeps ordinary technical logs for security, which record requests rather than identities and are retained briefly.
If you submit the enquiry or conflict-check form, the site collects exactly what the form shows you at the review step. Name, contact details, the category you choose and the text you write. Both forms tell you not to include confidential detail, and the review step exists so you can check what leaves your device.
What it is used for
Form submissions are used to run conflict checks, respond to your enquiry and keep a record of that correspondence, as professional obligations require. They are not used for marketing, not added to mailing lists and not shared with third parties except where law or professional duty requires.
Where your data goes
Form submissions travel from your browser to the practice's own server over an encrypted connection and are stored by the practice. They are not sent to analytics platforms or third-party form services. The click-to-load map on office pages contacts OpenStreetMap only if you choose to load it, and until you do, no request leaves for any third party.
What stays on your device
A few conveniences are stored in your browser's own storage and never transmitted. Whether you acknowledged the entry notice. Which reading perspective you prefer. Which checklist items you ticked. Clearing your browser storage removes them.
Retention
Enquiry and conflict-check records are retained for as long as professional-conduct and limitation considerations require, and are then deleted. Server logs rotate on a short cycle.
