Terms of Use
The terms, briefly and in order
Using this website means accepting these terms. They are short because the site asks little of you, and they sit alongside the Disclaimer and the Privacy notice rather than replacing them.
Who this site belongs to
This website is operated by Letters & Spirit, a legal practice with its registered office in Gandhinagar, Gujarat and a presence in New Delhi. References to the practice in these terms mean Letters & Spirit.
Use of the content
You may read, print and save pages for your own reference, which is what the print and save controls are for. The text, structure and design of the site remain the practice's property, and republication or systematic copying requires written permission. Quoting brief passages with attribution is welcome.
The site is information, not advice
The Disclaimer governs everything substantive here. Nothing on the site is legal advice, sample entries demonstrate formats only, and no advocate-client relationship arises from reading or writing in through the forms.
Forms and honest use
The enquiry and conflict-check forms exist for genuine matters. Submissions that are automated, abusive or knowingly false may be discarded and their source blocked. Do not submit confidential information before the practice confirms it can act, because the forms and the pages around them tell you not to.
Third-party destinations
Where the site links to official sources or loads a map at your request, those destinations belong to their operators, who are responsible for their own content and terms. A link is a pointer, not an endorsement.
Changes and continuity
The practice may revise the site and these terms, and dated pages record when they last changed. If any part of these terms is held unenforceable, the remainder stands.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Gandhinagar, Gujarat have jurisdiction over disputes about the website itself.
